Once a year,
Without a fear,
Comes a day,
For Moms to play.

A special day,
Without delay,
Where flowers bloom,
And tree leaves swoon.

The Moms escape,
The Batman cape,
The raging music,
And screeching ape.

They take a retreat,
To the spring,
A cheat,
And relax for the day,
For once, so sweet.

Under the sun,
Within the breeze,
Among the pillows,
Catching Z's.

Relax now, my dears,
For among you peers,
Today's the day,
To have your way,
On your special day of May.
