Recently, I've started writing fanfiction stories for the anime, Naruto, at fanfiction.net. Currently, I've only written 2 so far. The first one is a romantic/humor called "To Hell with Manners". Presently, I've only written 3 chapters for this. Admittingly, the third chapter was half-hearted. The first chapter was based on one of those rare moments when I was very enthusiastic and had creativity flowing through my veins. I wrote the second chapter the next day, so they're somewhat close in atmosphere and writing style However, I wrote the third chapter weeks later, where I felt more obligated than interested in continuing.
I am unsure if I'm going to continue this story or not.
My second story is "Back In My Life", a romantic bordering on romantic/drama or romantic/suspense. I find this one much easier to write. I don't have to hold an overly-enthusiastic view of life the entire time. The descriptive writing styles of poetry, where the words flow along the paper, suit me more than that of the humorous tones of witty jokes and entertaining incidents. I am quite good at creating suspense, where the readers' faces are inches away from the screen, eagerly awaiting what's to happen next. I am quite content with this one.
Presently, there are 2 chapters out, each with their own amount of suspense. The feedback I've obtained from the reviews are quite promising, being positive and helpful. With the story traffic being over 300 in the first 2 days, and with many favorites/alerts, my ego has taken a large boost, as well as my encouragement and movivation.
I wish to continue writing "Back In My Life".
I'm typing this because the fanfiction login page won't appear, stating:
Oops! Page Not Found
Sorry, the page you were looking for could not be found.Tips to find what you’re looking for:
- Make sure the website address you entered is correct and doesn't contain a typo.
- Go to AVG Search Homepage to easily find web pages, images, videos and more.
Understandably, this pisses me off. It's been doing that for hours, and I have a private message to respond to, not to mention, I need to check my traffic stats. I know it's not a computer problem due to the fact that it fails to cooperate on both the house computer and my laptop. I have access to everything else, mangafox, gmail, facebook, deviantart. It's just this. I can even go on to fanfiction.net. I can read stories and move about, but when I try to access the login page, I'm denied. The home page says nothing about the network being down due to construction or updates, so I really have no idea why this is happening.
Well, if fanfiction wants to retain its many users, I'm sure they'll have this fixed in no time.
