Don't See

The night is young,
The moon is full.
Quickly now,
Empty the bowl!

Hurry now!
Don't let them see.
We need to hide,
Behind those trees.

Shh! Be quiet.
Don't make a sound.
If they hear us,
Trouble is bound.

Good! they're leaving.
Come on out.
We need to hurry,
Toward the next house.

Grab the candy,
Leave the door.
The kiddies will see us,
Trouble, a chore.

Don't let them find us,
Don't let them see.
They're scared of monsters,
And monsters are we.

We love this day,
This cackling night.
Halloween is bound,
To be a great fright.
